The Way That We Once Were.

I thought we once had everything
I thought we had it all
I would have risked my life for you
and caught you when you fall.

Face to face, we break that bond
and separate our lives
We thought we could have handled it
We thought we could have strived.

I regret to have to tell you this
But no longer can I see
The joy, the fizz, the happiness,
The point of you and me.

I know I'm feeling all the pain,
The feeling does not stir
The only thing I long for is
The way that we once were.

You.

I cannot live without you,
I'll finally confess,
Cause every day without you
Always ends a mess.

I know you probably hate me,
That I do not doubt.
But every day I hope and pray
That this will all work out.

You have been my best friend,
You've always stood by me,
And here and now I cry
Because I'm wishing you would see.

That I cannot live without you,
Why can't you understand?
Because here are the days that I recall
Our friendship went hand in hand.

5 senses poem- Sorry.

Sorry feels like speechlessness.
Sorry tastes like fruit that isn't ripe.
Sorry looks like people being re- united.
Sorry smells like salty tears being shed
And it it sounds like forgiveness.

5 senses poem- Guilt.

Guilt feels like regrets of the past.
Guilt tastes like burnt cake.
Guilt looks like a non- stop flashback of memories.
Guilt smells like cheap perfume
And it sounds like no- one will believe you.

5 senses poem- Sadness.

Sadness feels like the pouring rain in winter,
Sadness tastes like flat Coke.
Sadness looks like a person with a tearful face.
Sadness smells like nothingness
And it sounds like slow crying.
